Communication and Conflict: “Can’t We All Just Get Along?”

Through this program, we will examine how conflict occurs in workplace interactions between and among customers and co-workers. Working from the perspective that conflict is a necessary aspect of effective communication, we will learn the characteristics of conflict, strategies to address conflict, as well as how to avoid unproductive conflict.
As a result of this program, attendees will:
- Understand different conflict styles.
- Apply conflict negotiation strategies to workplace situations.
