Libraries for All: Creating Inclusive Experiences for Adults with Disabilities

Wednesday, December 14 @ 9:00 am - 10:30 am

All library communities serve diverse populations, and adults with disabilities exist in all library communities. In this workshop, gain practical tips for inclusive customer service, learn about examples of co-created programs designed for disabled adults, and gather strategies for making all adult programs welcoming for people with disabilities. In addition, learn how to build accessible library collections and explore innovative services to support people with disabilities at your library and in your community.
