Preparing and Implementing EDI Training in Your Library

Tuesday, November 24, 2020

CALL is offering 20 no-cost seats to California public library staff (limited to one staff person per jurisdiction) in this Infopeople course. To apply use the form on the announcement page.

Additional course details and Instructor information

In this four-week course, learners will practice the skills to plan and facilitate an EDI-focused training for staff in their organization. They will be exposed to relevant resources, connect with library staff doing similar work, and be given the tools to get EDI training off the ground in their library. Additionally, they will examine their own organization’s learning priorities, and, with the support of the instructors, develop a blueprint for a staff training opportunity that can be implement upon completing the course.

In order to gain the most impact from learning events sponsored by the CALL grant we ask that all participants engage fully (attend, participate, discuss and share). If you are unable or not willing to agree to this, please be kind and leave a seat or place for someone else
