This is Part 3 of the Core Forum Webinar Series on Access and Equity.
Engaging patrons and creating community awareness has always been challenging for libraries. That has deepened during the pandemic, and it is naïve to think that as the pandemic subsides library usage and attendance will return to normal without major efforts to encourage a return to the library. This session will explore how libraries can re-engage their communities and residents and provide interactive exercises to determine what actions will be needed to make libraries a key part of their residents lives again. The program will include an emphasis on assessing and building capacity for marketing and engagement activities.
Attendees will learn about:
· Assess their organizational capacity for engagement and marketing activities
· Determine what marketing and planning tactics and tools are available to reach their patrons more efficiently and effectively
· Identify key actions and activities to reengage and communicate with their entire community post-pandemic.
