This Library Juice Academy course is the perfect opportunity for library staff who already know the basics of readers’ advisory and are ready to learn more some advanced skills. Topics covered include audiobook and multimedia advisory, teens and diverse readers, and a brief introduction to the major genres.
By the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Work with readers who prefer audiobooks and other formats
- Understand the unique nature of working with teen and diverse readers
- Be able to define the major genres and understand their basic appeals
