Reimagining School Readiness Workshop

The Early Learning with Families project is excited to bring you the Reimagining School Readiness Workshop at the 2021 California Library Association virtual annual conference.
Attendees will gain insights into the current research behind the skills and conditions that matter most for a child’s success in school and life. The workshop will include an overview of the research behind Bay Area Discovery Museum’s Reimagining School Readiness Toolkit, engage with activities that exemplify the research, and learn about the components of the Toolkit that library staff can use to create quality school readiness programming. The workshop will include time off screen for short breaks, as well as time to work individually and/or in groups on activities.
· Tuesday, May 11, 12:30pm – 4pm (Preconference program)
· Live online workshop with breakout ‘hands on’ activity sessions
· Apply by Monday, April 19 to allow sufficient mailing time for workshop materials
Attendance limited to the first 100 registration requests.
