Strategic Planning Made Easy: Part 2

Monday, March 15, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

If your library considers strategic planning to be about as much fun as a root canal and as useful as a bull in a china shop, then this workshop is for you! Whether you’re in a position to initiate, lead, or just contribute to your library’s next plan, you’ll be energized and eager to take part once you see how simple planning can be. And, not only easy, but critical as well to the future success of your teams, your organization, and your community! After the first session learners will leave with a list of critical “first steps” to consider. One week later, all participants will have the chance to meet for an interactive session to share ideas, feedback, and advice with one another under the guidance of Catherine Hakala-Ausperk

Catherine Hakala-Ausperk is an author, national library speaker, and consultant with 32-years’ experience in everything from public library service to management and administration. She teaches at Kent State University’s iSchool as well as for the American Library Association’s Certified Public Library Administrator (CPLA) Program, The Public Library Association, ALA Publishing eLearning Solutions, the Urban Library Council, InfoPeople, and multiple other organizations.

In order to gain the most impact from learning events sponsored by the CALL grant we ask that all participants engage fully (attend, participate, discuss and share). If you are unable or not willing to agree to this, please be kind and leave a seat or place for someone else
