Telling the Library Story Through Community Engagement
Telling the library story is more than simply communicating accomplishments. It’s about a way of sharing the impact the library has on its users in a way that blends data with meaningful and personal stories. This 4-week course (October 4 – October 31, 2021) will walk you through an approach that engages your user community via outreach activities tied to your organizational goals and values. In addition, you will apply practical methods for sharing your message such as identifying your audiences and tailoring content in a way that resonates with different stakeholders.
In order to gain the most impact from learning events sponsored by the CALL grant, we ask that all participants engage fully (attend, participate, discuss and share). If you are unable or not willing to agree to this, please be kind and leave a seat or place for someone else.
