There are a number of podcasts and videos archived here.  In A Day in the Life of a Leader,  a diverse group of library leaders share their perspective on the most important responsibilities and attitudes for leaders, as well as ways they suggest students can practice leadership skills while they’re still in grad school or early in their careers.

San Jose State iSchool Library 2.0 Web Conferences

Launched in 2011, the Library 2.0 conferences are the largest free virtual conferences in the information profession. The Library 2.0 virtual conferences provide an open, online forum for information professionals worldwide to access contact delivered by recognized international thought leaders regarding the future of libraries in the 21 century. The annual conferences are all-inclusive, and everyone is encouraged to participate as a presenter and attendee.  Just some of the previous topics covered have included Social Crisis Management, Blockchain Technology for the Information Professional, Libraries of the Future, adn Privacy in the Digital Age.

Access live and recorded presentations by invited speakers covering topics trending in the fields of library and information science, information governance, records management, and the “Day in the Life of a Library Leader” series.

Developing Leaders in California Youtube Channel

California Libraries Learn Academy (CaLL Academy)

To promote excellence in our state’s public libraries, the State Library places high priority on training and networking for California’s library staff. California Libraries Learn (CALL) is a collaborative project of the California Library Association and the California State Library that helps California public library staff grow with their communities. Our calendar is filled with free learning opportunities. We maintain a continuing education blog, and CALL Academy is available 24/7 and includes California-specific content.
